My name is Victoria, and that’s my little family and I over there to the left.
First and foremost, I am a wife and mommy to two handsome little boys. If it weren’t for my husband and children I would not have stumbled upon this intense passion of mine. They inspire me everyday, and for that I am so very thankful.
My journey started 2 years ago after the birth of my first son. I found myself wanting to capture every waking moment of his little life, and took the plunge and bought my first DSLR. I hit the ground running and threw myself into learning the art of photography. Through a lot of research, trial and error, asking questions, and pure practice I was able to master my camera and learn how to use light. Of course, photography is an art that is ever evolving, so I am continuing my growth through this evolution. After my husband and I discovered we were expecting our second child, I decided to leave teaching and pursue photography full time. It is the best decision I have ever made. I get to be home with my boys and “work” as a photographer capturing memories for some pretty awesome clients. It really doesn’t get any better than that!
After dabbling in all areas of photography I soon found my true passion. Seniors! I love everything about working with senior clients. They give me creative freedom, they take direction (HA), but most of all they are full of energy and life. They are embarking on one of the most exciting journeys in their life and being a part of their senior experience means so much to me. I have fostered amazing relationships with my seniors and they are all so special to me.
During the weekends you’ll typically find me on-location with some pretty awesome seniors. Week days I am neck high in mommy duties, editing, and tending to the business side of photography. To schedule your boutique senior session get in touch with me via the contact button in the menu bar above for session details. I would love for you to get your hands on the VGP senior magazine!
