Beautiful Girl | Bishop Watterson Class of 2013

Oh, dear sweet blog how I have neglected you! I promise to make it up to you with many posts in the coming weeks!

Life took over and forced me to step away from photography for a bit. With two very active toddler boys and the chaos of trying to sell our house for the third time I had to re-prioritize, and home life came first. I originally planned to take off the month of June, but when our not-so-solid-offer started to fall thru and the impending possibility of having to re-list our house arose, I decided to take off July as well. Luckily, we were able to salvage our original deal and we finally closed at the end of August. It took a solid 3 months to close. It was an emotional 3 months with a lot of ups and downs, but we are finally out of our old house (still sounds weird) and jogging on a new path. In spring we plan to start building our dream Craftsman on 1.6 acres of wooded perfection. I am beyond excited to share this journey (and another passion of mine) on a new blog I will soon be creating! Now, onto what this post is really about…

Waiting so long to share these images is a complete travesty! I loved this session so much! A beautiful girl with amazing style and the sweetest disposition made for a memorable evening. Oh, and that hair! Did I mention that gorgeous red hair?! I was in heaaa-ven! She and her mom were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were even kind enough to hang out with me after the session when I locked my keys in the trunk of my SUV! Yep, epic fail on my part! Honestly, I really have a sweet spot for this girl. I know she will do ahhmazing things in the fashion world. She’s currently embarking on a new and exciting journey, and I can’t wait to see where life takes her…

WARNING: Image heavy post! I’m sure you won’t mind. 😉
